Terms & Conditions

Deposits & Payments

A non-refundable deposit, as indicated on the booking form, along with a completed and signed booking form, is required to confirm a place on the tour.  Please read these terms and conditions carefully before completing the form. The final payment is due 3 months prior to the tour’s start date.

Cancellation & Refunds

Should it become necessary to cancel a booking, please notify us in writing immediately.  Cancellation of any bookings after the booking is confirmed, but prior to payment of the balance will result in the loss of the deposit already paid.  After the balance is paid, monies will become non-refundable.  A French View reserves the right to cancel the tour should there be insufficient bookings, with a full refund of all monies paid.  A French View is not responsible for any incidental expenses incurred as a result of your booking.  No refund is available after the tour has commenced in respect of any services the client does not utilise.  Clients should ensure they obtain a medical certificate for their insurance company if, for medical reasons, they must withdraw from the tour after it has begun.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport and visa (if required) to gain access to France, including but not limited to, ensuring their passport has the required period of validity left on it.  If the client fails to do so, we will not be liable for any cost, loss or damage that they suffer, nor will we refund them the cost of any unused portion of their travel arrangements.

Visa Requirements

The client accepts that to participate in the tour requires a degree of physical fitness and health, and it is the client’s obligation to ensure that he or she is medically fit to embark on the tour.  Clients must ensure they are fit enough to travel and may be asked to leave the tour if they are impeding the timetable of the tour.  We recommend that all clients consult with their own doctor to confirm there are no medical issues, or to collect any medications required, prior to embarking on the tour.

Health Requirements

All clients participating in the tour must obtain at their own cost, comprehensive Personal Travel Insurance, including repatriation for emergency medical treatment and cancellation cover.  The policy number and an emergency contact number must also be provided prior to travel.
