Château de Saussignac
This beautifully restored 17th Century apartment is located in the right wing of the Château in the village of Saussignac. The antique tapestries, rugs and stunning Baccarat crystal chandelier complement the rich, wooden panelling in the salon. Tall French windows on both sides of the building allow all day sun to stream through. The 4.3 metre ceilings with exposed beams, large working fireplaces and mirrors add an elegant and inviting feel to the downstairs living area, while upstairs there are two well-appointed bedrooms with antique furniture and modern beds, a bathroom, 2 toilets, laundry and TV area. There is also a sunny south-facing private garden.

The left wing of the Château has two large banquet halls that can be rented from the Mairie (Mayor’s office) for larger private functions and parties.
The village has a tennis court which is free to use, canoeing on the Dordogne river is 4kms away in Gardonne, and there is a 27-hole golf course 4kms away at Château de Vigiers.
The area is very popular with cyclists and walkers as the village is close to the pilgrimage route of Santiago de Compostela.

Policies
All prices are in Euro.
Minimum booking 3 nights during Spring and Autumn.
Full week bookings only for Summer.
Check in is from 4pm - 7pm and check out is by 10am.
A 25% deposit is required to confirm the booking. The final balance is due 2 months before arrival. A security bond of €500 is also required but is fully refundable after departure, subject to a damage inspection.
A contract with Terms & Conditions will be sent to you prior to the deposit being paid.
This property is not suitable for children under the age of 18.
No pets are allowed.
Getting Here
Saussignac is 20 minutes from Bergerac Roumaniere Airport with direct flights from London, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and some European cities. Avis, Hertz, Europcar and Buggs rental car providers are located at the airport. The larger Bordeaux airport is approximately 1 ½ hours away with flights to/from the US, UK and other parts of the world. Toulouse airport is just over 2 hours to the south.
